History of The "39 Studebaker Street Rod"

Designing and manufacturing custom street rods was the dream and obsession of the 39 Studebaker Street Rod originator, Rick Hanson. His love of cars started with his family's dealership and continued through graduation from General Motors Institute with a degree in mechanical engineering. The last twenty years have been spent in the automotive industry waiting for the opportunity to fulfill his dream, building an affordable street rod. Rick Hanson and Rippel Industries combine their efforts to continually build product with quality and pride.

John Rippel has obtained a degree in Automotive Technology and is an ASE Certified Master Technician. John has an extensive business and automotive background utilizing his education and knowledge to manage automotive shops and projects in California and Arizona.

Mark Wrobleski is a certified welder and fabricator. Mark played a key role in refining the body package assembly process. Mark's artistic fabricating background ensures an excellent fit and finish.

Mike Kobel has a diverse background with several years as a certified aeronautical technician and an extensive history of building award winning street rods throughout the United States. Mike's knowledge and experience assist Rippel Industries in overall performance, design, and assembly of diverse projects.
